Streamlining coverage management: Designing a comprehensive, all-in-one insurance MVP.
I was part of the team that built [redacted], a multi-service insurance platform servicing Nigerians and making the process of buying and managing insurance a more pleasurable experience.
[Redacted] is an insurance company that basically does it all. Think of a one-stop-shop where you can get any type of insurance coverage you need. Whether you're just someone looking to buy insurance, or you're a smaller company that wants to resell insurance to your own customers, or even if you're a partner willing to work with the company.
As a product designer on this project with the primary focus being on the user, i had three main goals that were set to measure success, which was;
Breaking down the onboarding process for end users for a better experience and reduced drop-off rate.
Creating an intuitive platform that eliminated UX issues around buying and managing purchased insurance coverages (Long coverage forms, confusing claims filing process)
Developing personalized application modules for all user types (insurance agencies, partners, and end users)
Developing a multi-platform application module for the end users (Mobile & Web app)
